The school follows a continuous and comprehensive evaluation according to the guidelines given by the CBSE Board.
Pre-Primary: We follow continuous evaluation from early childhood. Periodic assessment is done regularly. Assessment based on qualitative judgments of children’s activities, status of their health, nutrition, physical and social wellbeing. Each child assessed individually through informal and systematic observations of children’s activities. Feedback is given to the parents from time to time.
Primary: No Formal assessment. The students are graded regularly and are assessed on the basis of day to day observation, reading and communicative skills and revision worksheets. A checklist is also prepared at the end of each term to verify the child’s conceptual understanding.
Middle School: The students’ performance is evaluated on the basis of weekly tests, oral testing, project work as well as formal examinations. The whole academic session is divided into 3 terms. Each will have assessments and internal evaluations. It include Periodical Test, subject enrichment activities, maintenance of notebooks, regularity in completion and submission of homework and end-of-term written examination.
Promotion is based on the day-to-day work of the students throughout the year and also on the performance in the Semester (Terminal) Examination.
